India - Assistant Vice President, Sales and Business Development

Job Description:

MonetaGo India team is looking for an Assistant Vice President with a background in sales and business development. Primarily responsible for sales, business development and key partnerships in India. Growth of the company depends on your contribution in helping grow the business. You will be responsible for helping to grow MonetaGo’s solutions and engage with clients, define product use cases, validate our solutions, and collaborate with cross- functional team members to deliver solutions. You will need to have a high-level of understanding on how the solution will potentially meet customers requirements. A successful candidate must be energized in building deep customer empathy, collaborating and supporting product development team with customer requirements and optimizing sales and business development processes.



  • Engaging with prospects and leads & generating a strong pipeline through your own network including utilising existing networks and relationships to build new business.

  • Managing relationship with key customers.

  • Help support product presentations and demos for prospects and creating proposals for customers based out of India and overseas.

  • Facilitate finalisation of Non-Disclosure Agreements and Master Service Agreements with customers.

  • Gather information on competing landscape for solutions being offered by the

  • Tracking movement of key relationships and customers.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-10 years previous experience in a similar role/industry.

  • Post-Graduation (Diploma or Masters) in Finance.

  • Sales skills (cold calling, managing sales meetings, price and terms negotiations, problem management, account management, account growth etc.)

  • Experience of working in technology business development & sales will be preferred.

  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

  • Knowledge of BFSI and Trade Finance industry is good to have.

  • Knowledge of blockchain is good to have.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a team or on stand-alone basis.

  • Self-motivated and result oriented individual is preferred.

  • Previous track record of successfully managing sales growth
