We are looking for an Integration Engineer with 5-10 years of core Integration experience in Fintech or Financial Institution, to lead the firm’s client integration efforts.


The engineer should have an in-depth understanding of the financial messaging protocols and experience integrating with banking and non-banking systems.


A successful candidate will interact with architects and technologists from the banking sector in India.


Other positive attributes will include the ability to produce detailed technical design documents and the ability to manage multiple clients at once.


  • Participates in integration testing during software and infrastructure upgrade cycles, following test plans and documenting results.

  • Provides high quality and timely integration support, including responding to incident/problem tickets and troubleshooting errors and issues with university integration systems.

  • Maintains knowledge of core software offerings, in particular those APIs and systems that are essential for seamless communications.

  • Work with tech leads from clients to obtain system diagrams, data configurations and architecture for their payment systems.

  • Producing functional and non-functional system specifications.

  • Creating architecture diagrams as they pertain to relevant financial infrastructure.

  • Oversee production solution delivery and integration to clients.

  • Manage technical training of clients for successful operation of solutions.


  • Ability to run effective knowledge gathering sessions with technical leads.

  • Have excellent client management and communication skills as one will interact with multiple clients at any given time.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills (including ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly, and technical language) and interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, including ability to anticipate, identify, and solve critical problems

  • Knowledge of financial protocols and APIs, including IMPS, SFMS, SWIFT, FpML, FIX

  • Strong technical background in system connectivity, architecture, interface development.

  • Familiarity with payment networks and integration into core banking systems.

  • Ability to relay agendas, drive meetings, and follow-up on outcomes.

  • Experience with stateless and stateful protocols such as REST and Websocket APIs

  • Coding experience in Python, Perl, Javascript, or Java.

  • Experience working with cloud-based system infrastructure.

  • Excellent client-facing / customer service skills

Required Education

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
