What we do
Trade and trade finance remain structurally fragmented despite widespread digitization.
MonetaGo provides digital public infrastructure that enables trusted verification across institutions and borders, preventing financing fraud and unlocking liquidity for SMEs.
Digital public infrastructure
Digital public infrastructure (DPI) refers to shared, foundational digital systems that enable economies to function efficiently and securely. In trade and finance, this means establishing digital identity, standards-based data exchange, legal recognition of electronic records, system interoperability and shared verification registries. These registries confirm whether an asset, obligation or document has already been financed, assigned, pledged or otherwise used.
As DPI expands, data increasingly flows between banks, corporates, platforms, regulators and across borders. Without shared verification, the same data is repeatedly recreated, reconciled and checked, creating friction, cost and risk.
Our work addresses this gap by ensuring that once a trade asset or obligation has been verified, that fact can be relied upon elsewhere, without exposing underlying commercial data or breaching local regulatory and data-sovereignty requirements.
Solutions
We design and operate national and cross-border registries that prevent financing fraud, duplication and conflicting claims. These systems enable financial institutions to lend with confidence while helping businesses access finance faster and more reliably.
Our infrastructure is deployed at national level in India and Singapore with implementation underway in Bahrain, with ongoing engagements across Africa, the Middle East and Europe. At global level, our technology underpins SWIFT's trade finance fraud-prevention infrastructure.
Today, our systems prevent tens of billions of dollars in financing fraud annually while processing over one trillion dollars in transaction verifications, unlocking liquidity for businesses that need it most.
National trade data infrastructure
Creates a trusted validation layer connecting invoice and financing data with authoritative sources across the trade ecosystem.
At its core, the Invoice Registry enables financial institutions to detect duplicate financing attempts in real time. Connections to e-invoicing and tax systems, customs, trade documentation, foreign exchange and repatriation data extend that validation across the underlying trade transaction.
This provides financial institutions and public authorities with a more complete and consistent view of trade activity, helping prevent fraud, improve access to finance, and support broader financial integrity, revenue and regulatory objectives.
Receivables and collateral verification
Provides a trusted record of receivables, assignments and other financing interests, enabling lenders to identify existing claims or encumbrances before providing finance.
By connecting invoice and receivables information with relevant collateral and assignment records, financial institutions can identify duplicate or conflicting claims in real time, reducing fraud and legal uncertainty.
The infrastructure can operate alongside and integrate with existing national collateral registries, creating a more complete view of financing interests while enabling safer and more efficient access to credit.
Government data and e-invoicing validation
Connects trade and financing transactions to authoritative government data, including e-invoicing, tax, business registration and customs systems.
By validating transaction information against trusted sources, financial institutions and public authorities can confirm that businesses, invoices and underlying trade activity are genuine and consistent with official records.
This strengthens financial integrity, reduces fraud and revenue leakage, and provides lenders with greater confidence to finance legitimate businesses. It also creates a trusted foundation for broader regulatory objectives, including tax compliance, customs oversight, and foreign exchange management.

Ways to connect
Our infrastructure integrates directly into the systems financial institutions already use.
Access validation capabilities through a secure web interface, connect via API, or integrate through the SWIFT network. No platform migration required.
Built on open standards and ISO-certified information security management systems, our infrastructure operates seamlessly across different platforms, markets, and regulatory jurisdictions- enabling institutions to participate in shared verification without disrupting existing workflows.
SWIFT
MonetaGo's Secure Financing infrastructure, developed in partnership with SWIFT, is the first third-party trade finance fraud-prevention service of its kind.
This integration enables financial institutions worldwide to detect duplicate financing and validate trade documents directly within their existing SWIFT infrastructure—no new systems, no platform changes.
For banks already connected to Swift, the integration provides a streamlined route to MonetaGo's global validation capabilities with minimal additional technical integration.
